Ambrosia

Ambrosia. Is a poem taken from the book The Rainbow of My Insatiable Desires by Osiris Valdés López

She would be in charge of his kisses, of his lips, and the sweet aroma that would forever hypnotize his senses. She would be the owner of his desires and the most beautiful of all his memories. He would never tire of looking at her, observing her, and touching her with his mind, feeling the blessed sensation of brushing the most superb of heavens and longing for her without fears, arming himself with the courage required to fight for the heartbeats. He finally understood that he had never before been the rhyme of the poetry because he did not know her.

It is true that there are nights that drown in the mist and disappear; moments, instants, minutes that we live so many times. Gazes that make us fall in love, illuminate smiles, that defeat us. People, places that are left behind in time. It is true that sometimes we would like to return.

I am. Is a poem taken from the book The Rainbow of My Insatiable Desires by Osiris Valdés López

I am the breeze that stirs blue butterflies and suns without roofs or nets, the warm laughter that mocks the cold of white snow, the changing moon that wanes and grows.

family, inspiration, beauty.

In God and in the meaning of life...
I even exclaimed:
“Universe, sun, earth, sea,
what a sensational breath!”

For My Night's Rainbow

A poem by Osiris Valdés

 My Night's Rainbow

I want to traverse the geography of your body,
and learn about life and your biology,
with your bones, with the pain of your times.
I want you to flow freely through my blood,
to turn your name into the most beautiful verse.

I want a diphthong of your love,

I want to take your last name and have it tattooed on me in binary code
and to learn algebra on your legs,
to burn at 180 degrees Celsius with your kisses,
and to consume ourselves in the orgasm of 356 Fahrenheit degrees of desire.

I want to be the caricature of your eyes,
