As part of its evolution, the company has entered the world of cryptocurrencies with the aim of offering a simple, secure, and accessible solution for everyone. Today we speak with Luisa Cárdenas, CEO of SURED, to learn more about this initiative and its impact on the Colombian market.

Luisa Cárdenas

 1. Luisa, with this initiative, you aim to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone, even those with no prior knowledge of the subject. How do you reach the general public and local businesses?

At SURED, our focus is on accessibility to new technologies. In partnership with ValueTransfer, we have designed an intuitive platform that allows anyone, even without prior experience, to manage crypto assets securely. Additionally, we work with a network of partners at points of sale who provide user support. This allows us to reach local businesses and communities that have traditionally been excluded from these digital ecosystems.

 2. Luisa, what tools do you use to ensure competitiveness in the spread between buying and selling?

Our team has developed efficient models that allow us to offer competitive prices. We have strategic alliances that help us optimize operational costs and improve the user experience. Additionally, our commission structure is transparent, ensuring that clients receive optimal value in every transaction.

 3. What strategies have you implemented to achieve this positioning?

We have focused on inclusion, which has allowed us to reach sectors that traditionally did not have access to these types of services. Likewise, our network of physical points gives us a competitive advantage, allowing users to convert crypto assets into physical money easily. We also invest in technology and security to ensure reliable and agile transactions.

 4. What are the next business units that SURED is working on?

We are exploring digital payment solutions with cryptocurrencies and decentralized investment tools (DeFi). Our vision is to continue innovating and offering products that facilitate the adoption of this technology in the daily lives of Colombians.

 5. What payment methods are available for those who wish to use your services?

Currently, we have launched the option for Colombians to convert their crypto assets into fiat and withdraw them at our points of sale without relying on traditional intermediaries. Later, we will offer the buy and sell option. We want to expand the options so that users can choose the method that best suits their needs.

 6. How will SURED simplify users' lives in this new environment?

The end user is the main beneficiary of the digital transformation in the sector. With SURED, we seek to eliminate entry barriers, allowing anyone to manage their finances. Additionally, the ability to make payments and withdrawals at physical locations expands usability options and builds trust in the ecosystem.

SURED continues to bet on innovation and inclusion. Its commitment to the adoption of cryptocurrencies not only responds to a global trend, but also seeks to empower Colombians with tools that simplify their daily lives. Without a doubt, this is just the beginning of a new era in the country’s digital ecosystem.
